Focus Home Interactive has unveiled a new trailer for Insurgency: Sandstorm, the first-person shooter from New World Interactive and developed with Unreal Engine 4. The title features a story mode, showcased in this trailer, playable alone or in coop up to 4 players.

The motogp ad that proceeded this ends with the tag-line "the future is in your wrist" which is possibly the most inappropriate tag line ever. Lol. Hold on while i spray my future into a tissue. Lol.

Anyway, this looks shit! Were they even trying?

This has always been a pretty low-key thing. The original game is a standalone version of a Half Life 2 mod. They probably have enough budget for.. lunch :D

Also their first campaign, I think, but apparently they made a game I flew completely under my radar.

Edit: Aphex... if you're talking about the mod I think this still counts as the second game.

The gameplay of the Insurgency series is far more important then these shiny cutscenes. My guess is that this is the last scenematic you will see about this game. Its all about the gunplay, which is excellent in this series.

then here's a suggestion to the developers. promote this so called excellent gameplay and stop attempting to make shiny cutscenes. lol. i mean, this is THEIR promotional material, it isn't my fault it looks like shit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
