No surprise tbh.

Combat looked nice, awesome hit detection which reminded me of Street Fighter 4 which is always good.
But since its a fighting game I will just youtube the combos and be content with those.

But good for fans.

I was expecting for it to look better. Think about it, its a fighter and there are two characters on display, the world isn't sprawling so why can't everything have more detail. Gameplay looked fierce though. Overall in my opinion it was good.

Maybe it was in development for X360 and then decided to go for XBONE

This does not look very good graphically. Just saying, based on these screenshots. Doesn't look next gen. Xbox 360... It would look fine.

Looks crappy and the gameplay looks slow and while it's hard to tell from that little video, i'm not expecting much in terms of mechanics.

Exactly what I was thinking. It really just looks like a PC port of a 360 game...with particle effects.

But it does look fun and I've been waiting for this forever. Orchid better have her flashing fatality.

it looks like it pretty early in development..which is probably is. But was the perfect game to quickly show the share/spectate feature.

Graphically it looks like this generation, Rare always go overboard with parallel mapping or whatever it is.
For this level of game, you shouldn't even need parallax mapping. Not that parallax mapping is a very useful thing anyway :P

I love the original designs, they were unique und distinctive among Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and various SNK characters.

It looks pretty good, and it also will almost certainly run at 60fps, so keep that in mind. It's not mindblowing, but most fighting games aren't. They look decent, but never blow anything out of the water. They focus on responsiveness and frame rate because that is what the audience for those games cares about.

No, shut up with this crap. Just the pixel count alone makes that total horseshit. It looks better. Not all games have to look like Ryse or whatever. But between the sharpness of the image, the crazy particles, and some of the lighting makes it clear it's not just a current gen game. It's probably a half step, that'd be accurate.

I think it might be running on the Unreal Engine 4 : The color palette and the "sparks" particles etc...It all reminded me of the Unreal Engine 4 tech demo.

For all the people that think this can be done on X360, are you serious?!

Since when can you do real-time hair/fur, muscles, giant lights & vfx, all running 60fps on X360!?! The only 1-on-1 3D fighter on 360 is what?! DOA? If you're really honest, you'll see it looks pretty awesome.

I guess it needs like some lens flare or dirt on the camera, to be "next gen", huh? :D
