After last week's appetizer, here is the main dish with the seven first minutes of Just Cause, including the little intro cinematic, and a big fat piece of the first level. Needless to say, we're really looking forward to seeing more of this game.
Game looks amazing. Really stunning. I can't believe a few months ago, I totally wrote it off as being another damn port. Here's hoping it gets released in 2006. With Crackdown being delayed, this looks like the free-roam action game of choice.
Isnt this game suppoosed to be released on the xbox and ps2? If it is then i dont know how they are going to do it on the last gen systems.
The animations could be a little smoother but other then that the graphics look amazing. Too bad oblivion has that ugly texture for far distances, they should have done it like these guy have.
looks fun but almost too extreme! Like jumping out of an airplane to hang onto the wing and then jumpning back into the airplane! wtf!? Thats just funny.
Yeah, that reminds me a lot of Far Cry. I must say, I was pretty blown away by that footage. The only time I had even heard of Just Cause before this is reading about in in the the June issue of EGM. The one still they had of it looked absolutely horrible so I didn't even bother reading the blurb about it (BTW it's in the Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3 feature for the curious). But that footage looked really good. The water looked good, not great, but the shadows cast by the foliage looked pretty dead on. It's now on my 'to watch' list.
BTW, when was it announced that Crackdown was delayed? It needed it because it looks horrible.

The guy runs like woody from toystory and when you shoot people they fly in the air! The graphics are in NO way amazing! Even the ground looks horrible. The list goes on...

I was amazed with they size of this game on another video and this game is looking to be REALLY fun to play around, I liked Mercenaries and this somehow reminds me of that altho this has more GTA elements on it AND some own cool addons with it, I'll possibly buy this one :)

ERM the game is better looking than Oblivion and its 390 square miles ( Oblivion is 16 ). I can't wait for this 1.
It looks promising, the 3rd person combat looks a bit weak, the weapons don't seem to have any bite but that is probably just a matter of some tweaking.
Some of the things look a bit over the top but in general I'm impressed, I think the game will probably turn out to be pretty fun.

Wow i didn't expect much from this game so I didn't bother watching the footage after seeing some of the comments I now gotta see for myself.
Whoa talk about coming outta left field I didn't expect this game to actually be good. If it isn't it sure does fool the crap out of ya in the beginning I really like the gameplay :)
I like some of what I saw in regards to graphics, but its still too hard to judge from the video just how good it really looks graphically. The gameplay looks pretty fun though.
shame there is no multiplayer...even if its 4 people on whole island and they have to find each other and be last one standing....
