Video Xbox 360 PS3

Also showcased on the showfloor the frenetic Lost Planet 2 which could be experienced in multiplayer. For once we do not fight against each other but altogether facing the unbreakable giant toad haunting the only map of this E3 demo.

Honestly, it's unbelievable how many stunning looking games there are coming out. I guess developers are finally utilizing the full potential of the next-gen systems, because some of the games I have seen at this year's E3 are just mindblowing from a graphical point of view.

So yeah, the game looks gorgeous. I quite liked the first one, but the environments were awfully repetitive and the gameplay could have been better. The environments in the sequel already look to be far more interesting and varied.

Looks great, seems to have evolved with alot of new features and thank god for sprint button!

I also saw the stage demo at Gamespot and they said that this time, there is no Wayne or Luka or anyone.
This time you get to customize your own character design and such, its about YOU beig the main character.

But anyways, pretty cool game.

Where the hell is the LP2 demo Capcom/MS?

A few weeks ago it was mentioned the LP demo was going to part of bringing it home for Xbox Live but E3 is just about done and the only we've gotten is Overlords 2.

MS has one of the best press confrences and they fail to deliver content with bringing it home this year when in previous years when theyve had subpar press conference they had lots of content.

All we got from E3 is tons of HD trailers, the lack of demos is dissapointing.

For example as you said, there should be a LP2 demo according to what Capcom confirmed weeks ago before E3.
Then there is 2 confirmations about NGS2 demo was going to be uploaded on US PSN and yet we haven't seen anything (second source was 6/4 which is thursday PSN update for US).

The lack of demos is annoying. We see playable demos on the showfloor while everyone at E3 could play while us that can't go just have to look.

But anyways, I hope Capcom releases LP2 demo on both XBL and PSN, and I hope the "oh so called confirmation" for NGS2 is uploaded.
They said DURING E3 and E3 is soon pretty much.

Confirmed for PS3. Just not sure if it will be day and date and all platforms, but it's looking likely.

They said it's even one of the smaller bosses in LP2. I'll get it just for the coop, though the first LP was fun I never quite got into it (the bossed kept kicking my ass).

hopefully it will be a on par version then. The first lost planet for the ps3 was a pretty poor port.

Really looking forward to the multiplayer in this, just like red faction that came after it, the first LP's multiplayer was a real nice surprise..actually better than the single player game.

The first lost planets still one of the prettiest next gen games too.

They said that this time around LP2 will be exactly like 360, they heard from the fans of how LP1 turned out on PS3 so they listened and they will deliver same experience.

Confirmed it in a interview at playstatin blog.

And some still claim graphics are not important.. Well, maybe not for them (they can play Wii or whatever), but for me they are.. Graphics after fun gameplay are for me the most important thing.. And in general this has always been the case with videogames in general, because basic gameplay hasn't really changed much for a lot of genres (like racing), but graphics have, and they've made the games a lot more realistic and thus more immersive and more fun to play..

Between LP2, Dirt 2, Forza 3, Alan's Wake, Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, and AC2, there are so many games with some really great graphics. Let's just hope they play half as good as they look.

I can see the co-op element of this game working really well. The big boss battles in a co-op setting are really fun, Halo 3 nailed that experience. I can see this getting that formula right as well.

I am still sceptic about DIRT2 and AC2

I read that you can customize EVERYTHING for your character.
Head, back pack, legs, body and even change their seperate colors and their "taunts" and customize your weapons.
You can also choose to be either male or female which is a very nice addition.

So basically, YOU are the main character so there is no Luka or Wayne or the previous cast.

I am on the fence on this game, but so far it looks like a massive huge improvement from LP1 I played.
