the more I *hear*, the less I want to see. terrible, terrible writing and voice acting. graphics are nice, but the gameplay doesn't look too special either.

Writing seems very bad, voice acting too...but that might not stop the game from having stylish DMC-like cutscenes and cool gameplay.

Drivel. Maybe that's just the style he wants. I see nothing "American" here style-wise. Maybe a tad more grounded(that's a stretch, though).
This is looking better and better. I"m with Skoll on the audio. If they are taking a more Western approach, as CLOUD suggests, then perhaps they should avoid the Anime style voice acting :P...
