GSY Video PS4

No Man's Sky showed itself at Sony's conference and it looks as promising as ever. Miguel was there to film the short presentation, so we give you this amazing moment, hoping Sony will finally understand that official next gen videos should not just be available in Youtube quality.

Why isn't there more interest for this game on here? That looked brilliant and technically very impressive. Tailor made for VR.

It sure looks the part, but my only problem is that I still have no idea about what this game is about. Exploration? Appaarently there is no story, but are there missions. If it is just about exploration and random dogfights, it might become boring very quickly. Maybe it's meant to be a "therapy" game. :)

I think it falls into the "minecraft" sort of genre. there is no real objective. Its an infinite, procedural sandbox for you to explore. The HUD looks like you have what look to be bullets. Which means you have a gun, but what you do with it i don't know. Maybe they're not bullets? It's a mystery tbh but the tech is impressive. If they can get something like this in a game like mass effect 4, then it would be awesome.

Yeah, the technical side of it where you can leave a world, fly into space, then explore and spot another planet, then actually fly down into a fully realized world is an incredible concept that is fully realised here. You can imagine a Star Wars or Mass Effect style game making use of this kind of tech. It would bring games like those truly into the next generation. A Metroid game would be great like this too. As I said, it's just perfect for VR.

Old Sports, this game to me, feels like Orson Welles' Citizen Kane. He, like Hello Games, had a good track record in their respective lines of work. Then they decided to take on their industries with limitless ambition. Like Citizen Kane, I am certain that this game will be a milestone in gaming history.

If You look @ first trailer ( 0:35) there is one second showing some kind of a laser while walking.

Normally your videos are crazy high quality (in fact the No Man's Sky Teaser looks incredible), but the YouTube version from Hello Games looks way better than this. I'm assuming that the source you used was of much lower quality.

Thanks for trying, anyway.

I don't get the hype... Seems to me like you walk around aimlessly in worlds inspired by shitty art direction, fly to space, blow up a few retarded aliens and then come back down to another generic planet...repeat 100000x

Looks like another overhyped indie game
