PS3

Sony put online these few images of Resistance 2. The demo shown during the press conference was showing the hero of the game battling against a monster as tall as a building. Quite epic!
Update: Added the trailer.
Update2: Gameplay footage from the Sony conference is now up.

it would make a good cut scene, but the gameplay looked boring. no real sense of action or danger...

The gameplay look EPIC! The scale was immense and I really digg the overal flow and level design.

This game is actually starting to grow on me, absolutely hated the first one.

He's right you know. It seemed like you couldn't die, it was all very slow and it was very uninventive how you fight the boss. And I love how you managed to survive being thrown through a window then a long distance through the air onto a rooftop. Not.

highlight of the conference for me this. the footage was EPIC!. not the fanciest looking game in the world visually, but as a whole it looked good. enjoyed the first, dont see why i wouldnt enjoy this.

I would of thought the highlight of the conference for you would of been having the ps3's biggest exclusive of 2009 hit the 360?

Quite well made trailer, does have quite an epic feel to it, but I have to agree on the gameplay, something just wasn't right about the pacing and "feel" of it.

The engine itself reminds me very much of Source, in that it looks more real than a lot of others out there without necessarily having the highest res textures etc.

The demo in the E3 conference, well... the giant monster is awesome for sure, and huge huge like a building, but... the rest of elements..., buildings, inside the buildings... poor and plain textures, etc... Too much detail on the monster but the´ve forget other elements. Nothing to do in front of Gears of War. Even Killzone 2 looks much interesting to me

Not particularly amazed by this game, but I'd still take it over Gears of War 1/2.

Loved the first, loving this even more (exactly what I expected from the sequel).

Great work Insomniac.

Killzone 2 looks more enticing to me.
especially the multi player vid on the store, looks as good as single player with 32 players.
hope the hard working guys at gamersyde put it up tomorrow.

Urgh, I guess it's that time again where every game, no matter what genre gets compared to Gears....*sigh*

HAHA! Wait for the monster to grab you, then when it opens its mouth to eat you, shoot it in the mouth! Classic monster gameplay! :D

All a bit contrived for me.
