Trailer PC PS4 Xbox One

Electronic Arts showed DICE working on Star Wars Battlefront during their E press conference and here is the direct feed trailer. It's not well compressed but we didn't find anything better. More details on the game will be revealed in Spring 2015.

Finally this epic trailer in high quality!!!
Those few shots and that last scene, if the game truly looks like that, damn, gonna lose hundreds of ours on it.

PS. Now just waiting for the Mass Effect one.

True, but that shot with the aircraft in the snow, the trooper's upper body and that last scene with the speed bike were in-game and even in this not so great encode, you can see how great it will look and a little of what is like to control the speed bike.

So this gets me very excited, because I can clearly see the direction they are going and it is fantastic.

PS. I don't know the names of the vehicles in Star Wars.

What? It looks like they're just running it on their desktops.. and it looks like every other Frostbite game (quality wise).

Yeah but it was the only video that EA have released themselves outside of Youtube at the moment.

No. It actually is rendered in real time on the engine. In engine means exactly that. It's the game assets being rendered within the game engine so that the devs can see what it looks like as they build it, not necessarily the final look of the game that you'll be playing.

That looks really awesome. I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan but damn I love seeing devs putting that much love into their game. Very impressive.

Unfortunately, this is true. I downloaded this and the EAStarWars official YouTube version and they are exactly identical. There is no added benefit this time, even though there normally is, to downloading from here. Not sure why Gamersyde didn't just outright say that it's the YouTube release... seems like a necessary mention, especially considering the comments on here trying to say that this is a higher quality version. Knowing where these videos are sourced from would prevent any confusion on the quality and would prevent rude comments from people who are mistaken.

That being said, I also feel the need to clarify something about this "in-engine" footage. In-engine means that they've rendered something in real time on the game engine essentially without any hardware limitations. What was briefly shown were essentially in-engine cutscenes. Keep in mind that the Unreal Engine 3 Samaritan demo was in-engine, yet no game ever release looked anywhere close to that. There will always be hardware limitations which prevent actual real-time gameplay from looking that good. In-engine is not the same as in-game gameplay, and considering that you'd be best served to keep your expectations in check.

It's a shame, I would have loved to see this video in an uncompressed format. However as theshape31 said it might be good to keep expecations in check, as the game might not look as good when the game is actually released. But by late 2015 I hope games look this good.
