Xbox 360 PS3

Aenima also send us this video showing finally some gameplay of The Club. I must admit I don't really know what to think about this game after seeing this, I guess this is a game you have to play to really appreciate.

This is not E3 footage it was on Gamespot prior to E3, Bizarre have stated that the footage was REALLY old and shouldn't have been released. It is not an indication of the way the game currently looks and plays.

The action seems no good, and the sound of the gun seems like paper bullet.

I hate the kind of gameplay where you are rushed by the game itself. It looks like you have to kill people before you're timer runs out. Sort of like a checkpoint system. I don't like checkpoints. bleh

it looks really low budget in terms of gameplay... graphics look pretty nice i guess, but the gameplay is really lacking...like they couldnt think of a decent reason for your character to be in these areas shooting dudes, so just gave you points for it instead....bad premis, bad looking gamplay, with some ok graphics, i'll give it a miss unless it completely turns itself around.

adding points to a driving game was a stroke of genius, adding it to a shooter seems like the worst idea yet.

I dont understand the need for this game unless Bizarre are testing themselves in preparation for a sandbox game (combine this and pgr4).

Sure enough some of the chaotic shooting in games like saints row, max payne and gta is great fun but all those games have done it all a million ways already and if this goes up against the rather promising Stranglehold (which seems to take max payne 2 chaotic physics action to the max) then good luck :/

It is nothing like that, no self discovery is involved, it is simply money talk; they got this job from Sega shortly after (or even simultainesly) with the release of Pgr3.

My thoughts: drainage of resources.

I think this game looks plenty interesting, and as awesome as PGR4 is looking, I don't see why you're complaining. So what now, every game that's more heavily based on gameplay than story is just there for a quick buck.. but you rather they would commit more resources to a sequel?

I think this looks great. Very arcadey, should be interesting to see if it's worthy of leaderboard competition. Okay -- great is an exaggeration.. but it could be good. I hope they release a demo so that people can judge for themselves.

the sound effects sound awesome (other then heavy objects not making any noise wen hitting the ground). but this game seems very linear which is not so good after all the games that are trying to focus on making the games as less linear as possible. like bioshock, its an FPS but tries hard makeing it big and open and does a great job at it. this just seems like go in and shoot people up in enviorments we seen hundreds of times.
