The graphics are gorgeous and I love the atmosphere and enviornment, but anyone else feeling a bit iffy about the gameplay? The E3 demo they showed seemed to cut the QTEs down quite a bit, but everything was still so linear it was damn near on rails.
Exploration was a HUGE part of TR, and probably the main draw to me. If I am going to be doing nothing but walking down narrow paths, shooting groups of 3 bad guys, and following button prompts, no buckets of atmosphere or tons of shiny pixels are going to do it for me.
It's really unfortunate too, because like I said, I love the visuals and vibe, and the physics and attack options look great. They just need to quit the hand-holding and just unleash Lara in the environment and let US figure out how to survive. I'm still cautiously optimistic, but I think everyone who is claiming this destroys Uncharted may need to wait until we see some proper gameplay (if there is any)...
