I've been asked many times to put online a Too Human video in high quality. Well the wait is over with this video. Let's just hope this E3 version wasn't really what the final game will play and move like...
Update: Video of the second level added.
Looks cool. I'm pretty sure I heard that the devs put in a new technology that allowed them to stream levels just before they did the E3 build which kinda screwed the FPS. I doubt they will leave it like that. Once they get the FPs sorted this game will be cool.
A few of the sites that had hands on play before E3 said that the E3 build cam wasn't as good! I'm guessing this was an earlier build!
Blim, I saw Morgan Web playing a demo version of Too Human and I wasn't too pleased at all. I really think the developers should have made the game a no-show at E3. I'm pretty sure a lot of people would have forgiven them, had they not shown the game at all. I would have just settled for the old trailer instead of what I saw on G4. I'm sure the game will be awesome, but that demo worried me more than enough for a game that's been in development for ten years. Silicon Knights had better show something to the press that will once again wow us gamers, because I think the early gameplay footage has definetly lowered the anticipation for many for this much hyped title. It's not like Microsoft to hype a title and not deliver, so I'll probably just wait and see. But the fall season is not very far away......
Damn, are we playing a soccer game here or an action game. Hi def or no hi def, I don't want to see the protagonist so tiny for so long. What happened to the ultra dynamic camera they boasted about. The camera looks familiar to an action title that was on the PSONE. I just can't remember it, but I know it sucked balls. Ninja Gaiden has yet to be unseated for the best camera in an action title. It was'nt perfect at all times, but it did it so well that it should be used for reference.
ive read that dyack recieved alot of feedback about the camera being to far from the character and dyack told people that its something he is going to look into
The camera went completely behind that red branch, and we couldn't see the guy for a few secs. That's awful. To say the gameplay is simplistic would be an understatement. Hope the game gets the overhaul it drastically needs.
The devs had just introduced a new content streaming system and it had battered the framerate, 1up confirmed this as they had been the game a few weeks ago and it looked soo much better, it was ms who was insisting on a demo at E3 silicon knights just wanted to keep working on it hence the incomplete demo
i agree many things change in a game before its realease and believe it or not developers will be listening to the feed back people are giving them thats another huge part of E3 for games to see how the gaming industry reacts anyway it looks good but i personally cant judge it until i play it just like said cant truly judge a game inless u have played it.
Listening to various podcasts 1up yours especially.
A) The framerate issues are temporary, introduced by streaming technology in the demo.
B) Camera issues are aknowledged.
C) Demo was basically throwaway. Apparently SK is just working on the game, not focusing on the demo.
I seem to recall Halo had a rather underwhelming, shoddy demo a E3 once upon a time, but I can't remember where I read that..
To say I wasn't disapointed with what they showed at E3 would be a lie, but I can see the raw potential of this title just waiting to burst out. Things like camera closeness I imagine aren't too hard to fix, and it just reeked of "totally unfinished" which at this stage is fine. If they are only 50% complete I'm glad they didn't dedicate precious man hours to making a trade show demo and decided to show what they had right there and then while they continue to churn on what really does matter; the final product.
Denis already said 30 fps is no problem and they might even go 60 fps.
The Oblivion demo shown 5 months before release went 16-20 fps on the highest PC that they used.
I would assume blimblime would have known things like that...
Looks fixable. I think it'll turn out great. If they tidy up the animations, and the transitions between them, as well as bring the camera closer it'll be a very cool game. I'm also expecting much better AI and framerate. But theres almost a guarantee all this stuff is gonna happen.

me to but i think it was the dreamcast version, I remember seeing a video of it on the halo 2 dvd. The camera angle in this game sucks but I havent played it yet so who knows??? ( even if the majority of people who played it say it sucks, mabey it won't for me )
If you listen to the 1up Podcast E3 wrapup (http://zdmedia.vo.llnwd.net/o1/Podcasts/051206.mp3) you will learn that the demo was made specifically for E3 because SK was pressured by MS to show it.

very few with religious beliefs are naive or zealots, but for sure don't find amusing their beliefs being thrown in for clout. maybe STFU with that discourse? (2 Weeks ago)

Pretty sure Loakum was making fun of religious naive people who thought that God and Trump have a good connection. And the most recent "Bruh..." means "Bruh, don't you get my sarcasm?" (3 Weeks ago)

Must try harder.

Terrible animations, bad framerate, borring level, lame graphics, no shadows, stupid ai, bad physics, huh i can go on like that for the whole day.
If this is form a really old build i can understand that but if not then this devs are really lame, they needed 10 years for this ?
The graphics looked alot more impressive on the photos and even the very blury gameplay video showed some weeks ago looked much better, very strange.
