Looking promising yet again; I hope they can bring us the final game soon. I love the atmosphere but I regret the scripted fighting etc. Oh no wait, another PS3 exclusive? Damn it yet again :p

Kinda lost interest after hearing it's only 8 hours long, and since that's from the publisher you know the actual time is half that.

^where did you get that?
as far as what I've read most recently, its about never ending stuff. step-by-step decisions of 4 different charactters will branch together into totally variant scenerios each time you play, resulting in undeterminable game end time period. as he called it, there was just no game-end scenerio.

it could be the minimum, quick-death scenerio or the time you take to complete the story flow of 60 chapters in quick 8-10 hours. elaborating on the decisions you make might take it to twice or more than that long i.e. undeterminable.
anyhow, the game is a fresh breath of innovative approach in the current flow of industry. a must buy for me.

The one where she was crying. Aurelie Branchillon as fara s I remember, at about 0:43-0:45.

Opening the door to the Taxidermist murderer!

Ah, that's more like it. After the very dull gameplay video recently released, my excitement for this had died down. This trailer, however, has me rather excited again -- the graphics looked great in some scenes.

I think Fahrenheit could have been completed in 6-8 hours and that turned out to be one of my favourite games ever, I guess if you didn't enjoy Fahrenheit, you may as well look at other games to get your 30+ hour fix.

I hate this number counting when it comes to games. As long as it's fun, who cares? Unless we're reaching into the sub 4 hour category than it's completely meaningless. And why do people look up half facts about games? It has been stated multiple times(every time really) that there are several characters to play through.

But when you can buy six new games for the price of a PS3, it makes it a bit of a hard sell.

PS3 will definitely cost 299$ in 2009-2010,
and reach 199$ in 2010-2011.
So, i don`t see a problem,
when some people pay for playing online, while they could get 1 game every year instead. =)
And on PC, sales of this game would suffer from piracy.
PS3 is the best way to go!

Exactly. That's like saying: "If you can buy food, you can afford a Porsche. It just takes time." Yes, it would take time, but you'd also starve to death.

Okay, a bit of a rubbish analogy, but you get the idea.
