Xbox 360

Ubisoft has finally released the E3 trailer of Naruto: The Broken Bond for everyone, only in SD unfortunately.

I really liked the first one for it`s gameplay but the story just sucked.. If I hadn`t watched the anime before I wouldn`t have understood anything. The game was WAY too short as well! Hope they fix it this time around!
Cheers

I enjoyed the first one... especially the fighting bits... the adventure was fun while it lasted. In my opinion most of the side quests could have used a bit more variety.

But like I said the fighting part in Naruto is brilliant! Well executed, remarkably intuitive and fun.

I simply can't wait for this version!

Downloaded the PS3 version last week but the fighting wasn't as fun as the Xbox 360. It certainly looked good but didn't feel close to great as how I experienced it on the Xbox 360.

@ Cheboury

To be honest, the fighting was a bit of a button masher and I hope they improve upon it in the sequel. Other than, this looks quite better graphically. I really cant wait.

Button mashing? I guess you could approach it that way too but there's quite a deep fighting system involved.

On the highest difficulty there's no chance off button mashing extravaganza.

The sweet spot is combining best animation with best cell-shading graphics.
The PS3 "ONLY FIGHTING SHOWN " game, proves it.

But yhea, the enviroments kill the ps3 game.

LOL, um no.

This looks great and all but the art style isn't correct, but then I guess you ecpect that from a western developer.

the 3 man team tagging idea during fights is great, but the pseudo action game with character abilities and generic characters NOT created by Kishimoto reminds me of uzumaki chronicles..that game was horrible.

you might want to check the latest e3 trailer, its not on this site however,
but it shows the Konoha enviroment as well as a sneak peak at how our hero will get around (think huge leaps with enviromental blur and the whole nine)
there's much more to come, the PS3 game is still in development, wait till its donebefore you start saying which is better...

already saw the images & some footage, only the village.
Ubisoft is stellar in that department, namco's game isn't. sorry, don't take it personal.

the double teaming combo is tight, i wonder if they're possible and different for every team up..or are you restricted in how you mix and match characters? i'd like to team up all the sharingan users!

you mean the ON RAILS jumping minigame you see them doing in the ubisoft games demo? your opinion is laughably wrong and you obviously haven't seen what i'm talking about, your apology is accepted however.

nop, I mean I already saw Namco's game stuff, not talking about the B. bond.
And it's not an apology, its an advice. don't take it personally cuz i don't fuckin care what you think. It's my opinion.
PS3 environments are lacking comparing to this one, they are lush and vivid.

All button mashing is done when the player isn't really capable of doing combos. usually because of the fact that their are about a billion of em and are too damn hard to memorize. ABXXXXXYABXXXRBXX. That sorta stuff.

reall, i hate, it has nothing to do with naruto soundtrack
not many ppl now this, but its the main theme song for the first naruto movie and is called:
05 Princess Fuun's Big Adventure - ''Sadness'' - ''Despair'' - ''Hope''.
it should be on the naruto movie 1 ost.

I know this so well cause its one of my favorite naruto tracks ;P.

anyway the adventure part looks better then the first game, but the fighting/faces/animation still look abysmal, no dev can top cc2 when it comes to naruto games.

This just looks disappointing after having played the PS3 demo.

Can't say I'm much of a Naruto fan, but from what I can tell the PS3 version is purely fighting. They claim it has some form of adventure mode, but none of that has been seen. It sounds like it's going to be more of a vague story or mission mode, and not have any real kind of adventuring or exploration.

The PS3 version undeniably looks better (at least the character models) but I far prefer the adventure style game, over pure fighting.

The demo for the ps3 is lame and also its a buttom masher all you do is press the circle button repeatedly. It's not fun at all the only thing it does right is the camera angles.

lmfao.ppls stop talking about 2 unfinished games!!!ps3 and x360 version are gonna be released at october, november or decenber.still a lot time left so these games are only "half-meat".1 game released demo bout 5days ago.2nd dont even have that.oh and i think adventure modes of these games are gonna be similar.still prefere the ps3 one.because of better graphic and "calling team mates to AID"button.still i dont know which is gonna be better at tne end when both of them will be FULL released.

I remember writing a comment recently here on Gamersyde where I complained about the console war going to far and took the bickering about Naruto games on Gametrailers as an example. Some user here said "Well, that's Gametrailers for you". But I wasn't so sure. Sure enough, here we are, bickering about Naruto games. Pathetic.

And Jollipop, stop being such a weaboo.

Are people really stooping as low to compare a Fighting game with an RPG? Just because it is both Naruto... wow... how the fanboys have fallen.
