We can only appreciate direct feed trailers and we were not sure Sony would provide some but that's the case so enjoy the E3 trailer of The Order 1886.

Love the look of this. Such awesome atmosphere. And feb is perfect too. After the stupid wall of games in october/november, we don't have to wait long before this drops. Bloodborne is spring too, so potentially a month or so after this.

Looks great visually, but there was seconds of gameplay the rest was cinematic cutscenes and a small QTE.
This didnt show a damn thing to me other than visuals and atmosphere is great lol.

I was not impressed with this game. Visuals were good, but the game seems uninteresting and dull. Hate the interruptions to gameplay all the time. Really average title for me.

Again with the weird logic. So you think this looks like it won't get good reviews. I think it's just a section of game. A bit like how the scene in uncharted 2 where he's chased by a truck down a narrow street was broken up by cinematics. That scene started as a cutscene, transitioned into a scripted, linear escape sequence when you shot backwards (like the order with the werewolf) and then transitioned back to a cutscene where he hides from the passing guards, then back to gameplay where you snapped a few necks, then back to scripted explosion scene all in the space of 5 minutes...
We've seen this before a million times in a million games. It doesn't mean the entire thing will be like this. Just like uncharted 2 wasn't. Even though it was hella cinematic (and awesome for it)
If sony put some marketing welly behind this. And sell it as the next last of us-like cinematic experience, i fail to see how it won't succeed.

disgrace? its a optional game and gameplay style in sea of many games, we get it you hate it move along and stop crying in the threads, i mean seriously you should get some help for that mental issue you have and the inability to think other people might just like a story driven game with how they have done it..
Some of you are on drugs or something. This game looks fucking incredible. I'm not just talking about how obviously good the visuals are either. It's the entire experience. Incredibly cinematic looking. great atmosphere, good acting from what I've seen, interesting characters etc. This is a hammer horror style film brought to life, only you'll be playing it. I seriously don't get the complaints. The fact that a game can look this good and look so cinematic at the same time should be enough to excite people. Not these days.
each time i see this it looks more and more impressive..but i still can see adverage reviews in its future. Something just feels off with the actual game itself..the shooting seems to lack something. It being only single player makes me wonder just how long it will be too. I've not seen any great AI yet either..and obviously with something so heavily scripted replay value is questioned.
But i love the atmosphere. Love the direction with the cutscenes (though i hope it's not constant..at least they're never lengthy).
My dumbass didnt bother watching the trailer since i expected not to see gameplay, but after seeing it after curiosity, there was and it was good tbh.
I did love the slow mo headshot thing going on.
The stuff they showed at Sony conference was very bad, they could have easily put on like 10mins or so of constant pure run around gunplay and show actually various gameplay mechanics but they took the most generic and stupid segments people hate in games and show that instead which was dumb.

The beauty of the cutscenes in this, though, is that they are all seamless. It'll jump from gameplay to cutscene and it barely looks noticeable. It was one of the things that impressed me in the gameplay. You're right about worrying if it'll turn into another Ryse type experience, though. It could well be too short, or the story too thin. I think it really does hinge on the story being right and how well the game is paced. Even if the gunplay turns out to be weak, the game could still be carried by clever use of tension or some clever puzzle solving like Resident Evil. It might not be just a dumb shooter.
