Video Xbox One

During the day, our L.A. team is asleep, so yesterday we thought we'd have to come up with something to keep you busy until this evening. That's why we decided to have a go at Forza Motorsport 5 again to improve our poor driving skills. Surprisingly enough, in one lap, we managed to break our own personal record and ti climb 11,366 slots in the game's leaderboard. We certanly could have gone much faster, but driving in cockpit view with no driving aids and manual gear can get pretty impressive on board a Ferrari. Another record got broken when we uploaded this massive file.

That wasn't so bad. My best time IRL on the Ring with a 6.2 Liter V8 Camaro SS is 08:32.xx.
So happy that T10 finally released this track and they've done a fantastic job with it. TBH, I would have paid for this whatever they asked for but hey, I guess for free ain't that bad either ;)
It's defo a very good practice tool for the real thing. Next trackday at the Nordschleife will be on 11.08.14 if anyone is interested, 28 slots left: http://www.trackdays.de/buchungen-bookings/nordsch...

Hi Gamersyde guys. Just letting you know that EA Australia's extranet website was updated with Direct Feed versions of some of their E3 trailers like FIFA, NHL, NBA and PGA Tour. I find this website to be the ONLY place that puts up the main press version trailers, be it mp4 or mov format videos that is.

anyone know why there are frame drops? people say FM5 is a consistent 60 fps also at the end of the lap there seams to be some texture loading issues, could this track be pushing the FM5 engine to it's limits.

I have seen frame drops when playing on other tracks too. It's rare but it happens.

Graphically it's certainly one of the most underrated games from the launch window. I played it at a friends house and the physics/gameplay feels absolutely brilliant. Turn 10 are crazy good at nailing that feeling of gripping the road. Just awesome.

This is great. Thanks for video. Now I almost drive only N-Ring in GT5 with anything possible so it's always good to see, how others go through this track.

They simply did not do enough. Nothing different from previous gen and lack of tracks was worst thing. They should have working head lights so night racing would be possible. day/night dynamic lighting, even if weather was not possible. GT6 on PS3 already did it so for new console there should not be any excuse:

Well, then there wouldnt be 60fps. GT6 had a really unstable framerate running upn down from 60 to 20fps or something.

That's ridiculous to think turn 10 didn't add weather or night just to be lazy. They had to create a launch game with a limited window of time so they could only do so much. I agree 100% that the lack of tracks and micro transaction bullshit was very off putting (one of many reasons I got a ps4) but the game still looks and MUCH more importantly feels/plays phenomenally well. I'm pretty sure forza 6 will have all the bells and whistles added and still be a solid 60 fps. For a launch game forza 5 looks and plays superb, it just got marred by the microtransaction crap but now turn 10 are making new tracks for free so that does help a little.

im sorry but unless you have any evidence to back up such a bold claim as that you should not be posting such rubbish, FM5 does not have a solid 60 frame rate as it frequently drops below 60, although GT6 does have frame drops it is on a last gen console and given how complicated the PS3 is to code for it's not exactly surprising to see frame drops though nothing like the 60 - 20 fps drops your claiming which are completely false.

This is a sim with amazing physics with around 300 cars

Driveclub is an arcade racer with 50 cars and 1 million trees

obviously that got under your skin, hes comparing the looks not the quantity even though FM5 is still quite flat compared to previous forza games in terms of quantity, no point going on about frame rates as FM5 does not have a solid 60 fps as it constantly drops.

Drive Club may only have 50+ cars but who want's an arcade racer with 300+ cars!

It's mainly at 60fps. Put it down to Driveclubs 30fps and have DC poor arcade style physics then it would look far better....

However some of us put gameplay before graphics... Enjoy your 1 million trees and lack of cars ;) Who needs amazing gameplay right?

Haven't seen footage of this game since launch and am reminded here of just how flat it looks compared to the likes of Driveclub. Everything just looks so much like a video game. Also, I noticed for the first time I think in a racing game the driver's feet. And I couldn't help but finding it hilarious that his right foot stays planted on the gas no matter what's happening and his left foot isn't even on the clutch at all.

pal drop the fan boy crap im mainly a PC gamer anyway, regardless to your pathetic attempt at having a stab at the frame rate FM5 does not have a consistent 60fps, FH2 is more of a comparable game to DC but looks wise DC looks much better than FH2, i love the way you say "some of us put game play before graphics" when your constantly on about "60 fps" that has nothing to do with game play as that's to do with graphics, DC will also be about game play but all you keep on about is "it's not 60 fps" frame rate = graphics, you keep contradicting yourself.
