Splinter Cell: Double Agent has a lot of demo booths available at the showroom MS organized after the press conference. So it was natural that I recorded a few videos of the E3 demo. This demo has 2 playable levels: the polar zone and the oriental one. It's this one I've decided to share with you during these 7 minutes of gameplay. Contrary to the rather bad looking gameplay shown during the conference, the game looks very good graphically. It's not quite easily spotable in this vidéo because of the HDR, but when seeing it directly from the screen it's very convincing.
Update: Little "polar zone" clip added, with superb aquatic effects. The full level piece will come a bit later.

Loved the water effects, especially when the camera comes up from the water, very well done.
Try bittorent, and prey.

Some of that looks amazing, reminds me of the RE5 trailer obviously not as high quailty, the game seems to be using very basic low res textures in a lot of places, duno if they will change that or not.
But when you look at the town/village from a wide angle it looks really good.
Looking forward to this game ..
So that aside, The cinematics are awesome, much better than the earlier versions. I don't know who animated the last games' CGI but some of them looked iffy.

And Gears of War was a hell of a ride too, if you like cover-based TPS games.
this demo will be on the marketplace can't wait.
Just wondering since I'd love to see it there to :)
I'M BEGGING YOU TO RIP THE REAL 720P TRAILER FROM THE MARKETPLACE (which is 105 mb, NOT 55 mb - because it's actually 720p - ALL THE VERSIONS ON THE INTERNET SO FAR ARE NOT OVER 1280 x 544 AND 55 MB)
I don't have a 360 so I really want to see this in it's real 720p glory. What GIVES??????
