Hazelight Studios, the creators of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, have revealed on stage A Way Out, their new coop adventure game with a compelling story about two brothers. No high quality trailer on Gamersyde as it's usually the case with EA products. The game is set to release in early 2018.
Update: 11 screenshots added.
The Newest EA Originals Game Comes Packed with an Emotionally Compelling Narrative from the Critically-Acclaimed Team at Hazelight
“Josef and his team at Hazelight represent everything that EA Originals stands for,” said Patrick Soderlund, Executive Vice President of EA Worldwide Studios. “They are a small and very talented group with a vision and passion for a game that is truly unique in the video game industry. A Way Out is going to surprise people with its innovative co-op gameplay and the way it tells an emotional story solely through these two characters.”
“This game is going to bring a co-op experience unlike anything you have ever seen before,” said Josef Fares, Writer and Director at Hazelight. “The idea for A Way Out came when me and a friend tried to find a story driven co-op game that wasn’t a drop-in/drop-out experience. We simply could not find a game like that. We’re also bringing an innovative look into how to tell the story of both these characters. Players will be immersed in the game with the way we change the display from a full screen experience seamlessly to different cinematic split-screen formats. By focusing on the two characters in different ways, it opens up a huge variety of gameplay, as we really wanted to avoid repetitions so they will get to know the characters through very different situations.”
The story of A Way Out begins in prison with two separate inmates, Leo and Vincent, who don’t know each other. While their individual stories progress, players will have to build a relationship based on trust as they break both men out of prison into the world beyond. This co-op only experience is meant to be played together with a friend on a couch or online.
A Way Out is being developed by Hazelight and will be available as a digital download in early 2018 on PC via Origin, Xbox One and PlayStation® 4. For more information on the game, head to <1968>http://www.awayoutgame.com.1968>

The Fares brothers are very well know in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, etc. Josef Fares is a very well know film director in many European countries, as well as the director and writer of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and A Way Out.
Polygon - Brothers: How a film director shook up Starbreeze:

"Born in the midst of conflict, a refugee set out to tell his story by any means possible."
His brother, Fares Fares is also a very well know actor, among his movies are: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Zero Dark Thirty, Safe House, Child 44, Snabba Cash (Easy Money) 1 and 2, Flaskepost fra P (Department Q: A Conspiracy of Faith), Kill Your Darlings, and many, many more.

I definitely recommend Flaskepost fra P (Department Q: A Conspiracy of Faith) and both Snabba Cash (Easy Money) movies.
You got me there. Though to be fair, I'm a fan - not big, just normal level - of Fares Fares, and he looks distinctively different than his brother.

It looks like it's modeled after Fares Fares. But I could be wrong.
Also, EuroGamer has a very nice article where they got to go "Hands-On" with the game, and explain many aspects of it. A few excerpts below:
"The action begins with the pair in their car, planning the operation. Your first choice is which character out of the pair carries the gun. It's a moment where one player can choose to take the lead on the forthcoming scene, and an opportunity to try out the game's two-player dialogue wheel. You can only progress when both players agree on the same choice - something which Fares told me was intentional, to spark conversation between those playing."
"...the experience of working together and communicating, of real-world interactions, will stick in my memory long after EA's flashier fireworks have faded."
