EA SPORTS MMA Career Mode puts YOU into the World of MMA to Train and Fight All Around the Globe to Become a Champion

EA SPORTS MMA announces Career Mode for this year’s title, set to be released on October, 19th. In career mode, you will have the opportunity to train around the globe with top MMA trainers like Randy Couture, Pat Miletich, Rickson Gracie and Bas Rutten. Visit gyms in Japan, Brazil, Thailand and the United States to learn new skills and techniques. You choose what techniques you want to improve and then go out and do the actual drills to improve your gameplay skills. Bring your created fighter up through the ranks to attempt to make one of biggest stages in mixed martial arts – STRIKEFORCE. No career mode will ever be the same, ensuring a unique experience each and every time.

If it controls as naturally as FNR4, then this will be THE MMA game, IMO...

Which is sad, really, if you care about the SPORT. There are some big names in there though. I didn't like the UFC game because it felt clunky- what I want is a game that feel natural and smooth, unlike the robots with fighter likenesses in UFC...

Agreed. To have a go at being Mark Kerr or Vitor Belfort (should they choose to include them) would be awesome. The trick would be capturing their unique dynamics; Vitor was quick and fast, especially with his fists, but lacked stamina, Mark Kerr was huge and very powerful, but tended to lunk about. If they can nail these kind of things then yes, this will hit UFC for six.

FN's career modes have been utter dogshite, I hope they learned the lessons from those to use in this which will then see their way into the announced FNC for next year (I won't be buying this as I have no interest in MMA).
