As the EA Sports MMA demo is now available on XBL and PSN, Electronic Arts has released this trailer in which one of its developers, who apparently needs some rest, presents it.
I disagree, I thought it was very nice. I didn't notice any frame-drops myself. I thought it was more intuitive than the UFC game, and communicated your opponents moves better. I didn't play it enough to completely get the hang of the controls, but they made sense to me( Modern military combatives are very similar to MMA) so maybe that had something to do with it. I feel the game does a much better job than UFC...

I feel exactly like you. They only think I'm not liking is the cpu trying too much to get takedowns, even though I can stop most of them.
Yeah, that is annoying, but if the fighter is a ground fighter, he's going to take every opportunity to take you down. I actually think it's too easy to get them off of you. I haven't played enough to get into the ground game yet, though...
when i played against the cpu , i hated the game. been playing it multiplayer with my brother & its fucking epic, apart from when i got one bombed :(
