The demo of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron arrived today on Playstation Network in Japan and DJmizuhara did not lose any time to capture it completely in video. Do not hesitate to give us your opinion of the game if you tried it yourself.
Day 1 for me too. It's a sheer joy to play so smooth and fluid, even watching somebody else it is a joy to watch. The art is Amazing its constantly changing it's just beautiful never seen anything like it. The demo pushed me over the edge and I went out and pre-ordered it, April 28th can't come soon enough.
DMC with rhythm based combos...it's so smooth. It takes a little while to get to but once you get it it's like butter. Hit detection seems pretty much spot on no complaints here.

Damn nice game, day one. The art style is amazing and characters aren't bad either. Fluid and nice animations, great graphics and gameplay. Played the demo on PS3 but probably wil buy for x360.

What's your thoughts on the platforming and camera angles?

You played the demo for 2 minutes, then turned your console off? Impressive. Maybe I'll try that with Arkham City demo, play it for 1 minute, turn my console off, wait for Day 1. Beat that!

It's already available on JPN marketplace, but Gold exclusive for now (my JPN tag is silver :( )...
I just now created a Japanese account, but of course also have silver. The cool thing is, my sister knows a lot of Japanese, so I could make her translate the dialog.

I don't even turn on the console and will be day one, aha beat that.
