Here are some screenshots of the enigmatic El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron from UTV Ignition, in which we immediatly recognize the artistic flair of Sawaki Takeyasu, who precedently worked on Okami. Moreover we know from now on the game's release date in Japan, April 28th, and the European and Amercian ones should be revealed soon.

UTV Ignition actually hasn't published a decent game AND they decided to take on the vaporware WarDevil, so I'm not inclined to have any false hopes for this game until they show gameplay.

Looks awesome, but I'm not so sure about gameplay. From the vids I've seen the combat looks really outdated and not a whole lot of fun to play.

Lovely style but very rough around the edges. Stuff like this needs very clean rendering.

The art is amazing but some technical issues are ruining, poor AA mainly but these poor artifacts may just be because of the inherent problem of screenshots.
