EA released another batch of images of SHIFT 2 Unleashed to make sure nobody starts missing the game. The engines will start at the end of March and you can obviously expect a bunch of homemade videos in time for the game's release.
Update: Ted Tudor, lead designer, just confirmed that no demo of the game will be available before release. If you get cold feet, you will have to wait a few more days (weeks?) to get one.

Commented on 2011-02-22 16:54:14ps i had GT5 but i got board of its repetition of races in A and B-spec just to progress through the game, online wasnt bad just i diddnt find it at all exiting plus the number of people using the x2010 in races online ment people who hadnt progressed far enough into the game couldnt compete.

many people i see after a demo "i had this pre ordered but after demo i am cancelling it" ... well why would developers risk that?. Too many people judge demos too quickly, in the old times to play demos you needed to pay (magazines) which made you try to get most out of the demo, but now cause its free if it doesnt blow your mind in 10 secs you quit and delete it

Im really interested in the game, but i do not want it to be like shift 1.
Shift 1 had lots of graphical glitches, sound bugs, and even some cars that would not work on certain tracks.
And the most important thing of all, the handling.
And that's why we need a demo.. demos generate much more interest VS people who play it for 10 seconds and throw it away because of the before mentioned reasons you gave.. they were never interested to begin with if and are certainly not the kind of gamer that would buy that game without trying it first.
I need to try this first because i need to know what the handling is all about.. and the lack of mentioning the improvements they should have made on the handling of the cars really has me worried.. that's why we need a demo.
And come on, people are not that dumb.
Gamers should know now that demos are a portion of a game, and if the demo is made well it should DEMOnstrate how the full game will function, looks like and plays.
