Xbox 360

Konami proves yet again that they really believe in Rumble Roses XX potential with this new video of their female wrestling game. This time it's a fight between Rowdy Reiko and Dixie.

I like how they slide all over the place without any regard to what their feet are doing. I never knew wrestling rings were made of ice.

Am I the only one who finds the character models creepy?

Lolz...I love how Konami thinks of the western market as a 'cheap' hormonally charged teenage boys market.

Heh Rumble Roses XX will be released in the US first before Japan! Wow AWESOME SUPPORT!

Coming from a culture that enjoys such perversions as fecal matter and other forms of scat yet they don't show pubic hair in movies, I'll take that as a compliment.

I love dixie's entrance ;)

The movement in the ring isn't too bad at all and the wrestling seems to look alot better while not overly impressed the game did look good in that video, but this game just isn't one that I'd buy. I'd feel guilty purchasing this when that could be money for blue dragon, too human, halo, gears of war, mass effect, ninja gaiden or anything else on the way for the 360.

Who is this game targeted at? Japan or the USA? Because I highly doubt it'll sell well in the usa. This game has to be targeting japan.

Personally, I'm still stoked. This and DOA4 sold me on the 360, just as DOA2 sold me on the dreamcast and DOA3 sold me on the Xbox.

Not enough games take as much pride in their character models and animations as the DOA games. Knowing that the RR girls are designed by the same character designer as the one who made the ones in DOA makes it another must-have.

Edit: You folks do know that they're made by the same designer, right? The rivalry between the two series is foolish, they're like software cousins.

Nah the way its done on her is nice and manageable she's not overly muscled like those women on espn that inject themselves with male hormones to get such muscles.

In RRXX, aren't you able to adjust your characters measurements? It looks like someone gave Dixie boob implants in this video. Anyhow, I'm on the fence with this game. On the one hand, I can get porn for free, on the other hand, you don't see games like this everyday (in America, anyway).

Imbeciles! If you knew anything about this game at all, you'd realize that the appearances of the two characters here have been CUSTOMIZED. They aren't default character images, and they're probably being used as examples of how extreme the customization feature can make the form and facial features of any given character....not to mention the characters that are built from scratch.
As for the endless, mindless drivel about DOA junk, well, simple things amuse simple minds. DOA won't even be a patch on this game. PERIOD.

The games doesnt look that bad (expection for the moonwalk effect), abit slow for my liking, but maybe its those characters.

I'm not a fan of the rippling thigh muscles, but the girls are indeed quite hot. Funny how they make the US girl rather horish, just look at Tina in DOA.

What the hell are you talking about? The character designers for the DOA series are Yasushi Nakakura, Hidoyuki Kato, Muneaki Kubota, and Yoshiki Horiuchi.

For Rumble Roses, they are Shiro Kotobuki, Ryuichi Iwamitsu, Hideki Tanaka, and Yasuhiro Tsukahara.

Don't confuse the hos in game for the art that is DOA. ;)

I read something along those lines a few years back in game informer or something. might not have been character designs, might have been 3D modeling. Whatever. There is some relation, I know that much.

You're talking about Polygon Magic CG, they did the CG for DOAX.. terrible looking CG by the way.

p.s. Hey, how do you keep taking those videos from the official Konami site? isn't against the law? shouldn't you post links instead. whatever.

The only relation is that the same 3rd party company was hired to do the CGs as for DOAX... and those weren't that great either. Games like this clearly show how Tecmo has more style when appealing to the demographic with female videogame characters. I don't think anyone would be embarassed to pick up DOA4, even if it is also a female-centric game.

Certainly this is aimed towards the Japanese, or people in America desparate enough for a wrestling game that can't get Wrestle Kingdom. "THE FIRST WRESTLING EXPERIENCE FOR THE XBOX 360". :/

Ironically enough, the reason I've never had interests in WWE or UFC games is because I really have no interest in watching or controlling two sweaty guys hugging each other really hard. WWE has gotten much better, but the bra and panty matches in those games are throw aways, you still have to make the sweaty guys hump each others legs.

Btw, good call on the CG people. I knew it was something. So they're like, 2nd cousins twiced removed. :) I can still appreciate the character designs. The game is worth it for the teacher and nurse chicks alone.
