3rd person Mirror's Edge?
I got more of a sci-fi PoP vibe from it.

I think it looks way too busy. Too much detail everywhere. It's like it's too busy trying to make me look at it that it forgets to actually give me something to focus on if that makes any sense. Just look at the 4th pic as an example, too much detail everywhere, i don't know what it is i'm supposed to focus on. Nothing seems to pop either, not even the characters.

The game sure has a LOT of detail, i just wonder if perhaps they could have used it in a smarter way. Also this is just one level, the other levels might look totally different i guess.

That seems like is a vista scene, and probably a cutscene... focus on the new stuff the dynamic camera is showing.

In this one, seems like a promising title with exquisite art direction where the gameplay is gonna Do or Break the game. i hope for the better.

And way more smooth animation, the transitions between stances were almost as bad as too human, and that is no compliment.

yeah animation wasnt great.. but hopefully they'll take alot of the positives from HS.. like the vocal talents (infact i think Andy Serkis is already on board), and excellent directed cutscenes

I look outside my window each morning and wish it all looked minimalist. Real life is too dam'd detailed with the amount of objects and colours I see.

Life itself can create the most amazing compositions. As an artist on a video game it's your job to create your own world with your own compositions, not resemble real life. Medigo is right, it looks a bit too cluttered, any sense of direction is missing.

Video games are used for both artistic amazing worlds and world which use more real life standards. It's two separate distinct paths just like art. Games are another art medium and creating a world which mimics real life to me is as amazing as a world which is totally out there and surreal. I'd imagine if it was less detailed though both of you would say it looks plain and boring. People on the internet have double standards.
