The closed alpha of Everspace 2 is kicking off today on Steam and it gives backers a first taste of the content from the Early Access build planned for December. For about 10 hours of gameplay, the alpha offers action on planetary locations (troposphere and underground), new missions, ships, characters, the all-new pilot and companion perk system and more. The full game for PC, PS4 and Xbox One is scheduled to launch Q1 2022.
