PS3

Right...this is my first post so please be easy on me. There's nothing really like Eye of Judgment: it's a card battle game which uses the new PlayStation Eye Camera. I'm still trying to understand this game, so for now I'll just be posting the cool intro to this game.

Neat concept but it would be cooler if it was themed around the original 150 Pokemon. I'd buy it for nostalgia's sake alone. Of course I don't think Nintendo will let Sony borrow that license!

i really want to play it, but i hate the fact that someone can cheat just by scanning and printing the cards... i bet the rare ones will be available on the net in no time... well it still will be great fun with some friends!

The game is great and its really not that hard to play. The tutorials they have on how to play made it seem much more complex than it actually is.

I would seriously love it if Nintendo did something similar for a Wii Pokemon game.

I am interested in this game, but one, the game is expensive.

Plus you have to fork out extra money for more cards

Still interested in playing this game though..

$70 for the game, eye toy, camera stand and mat, and I think like 42? cards total, isn't a bad deal at all. One of my friends was trying to find it, but he said it was sold out everywhere he went. I may pick it up when I get my PS3. How's the online play for anyone who already owns the game?

but yeah, this game could have a hell of bigger impact if it came out during the Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh card craze.

Heh Sony using Nintendo's most valuable property? I dont think they make moneybags that big at Monopolies-R-Us.

I can't believe Magic the gathering wasn't considered? That would have KILLED....

This game looks great.
I was a huge D&D nerd as a kid, as well as Warhammer.

This looks right up my alley, and you can check out some of the cards on forums out there, the designs are really quite nice.

he means Pokemon is owed by Nintendo.
YGO is Konami however.
either way i think the primary problem is convincing ppl to buy all new cards again. Wizards had enough problem with ppl complaining about that when MtG Online came out.

they possibly could have just gone for it anyway, but nonetheless thats likely the problem they had with getting any existing game (YGO namely, since, once again, Pokemon was likely impossible)

probably for the aforementioned reason **points above**
and also Wizards has their own MtG Online game. its not huge but it does well enough. either way Wizards has pretty little incentive to make a competing game to their own, using their MtG property, which they do not have full control over.

oh I got that part. I was referring to him maybe suggesting that they were somehow trying to copy off of Nintendo's Pokemon TCG, when in reality, outside of the actual "card use" they have nothing in common. Most of the impressions/reviews I've read have been comparing more to Magic the Gathering than anything else. Then again, maybe I just read the comment wrong :p
