I think they should let the players continue to play if one dies. Like in last man standing. And maybe let them ressurect at a checkpoint. This looks fun, but hard.

Wow. Just wow.

This is like Left 4 Dead on horse steroids.

The shame of it is, despite being a fan of the F.E.A.R. series, I was pretty much ignoring F.E.A.R.3 once it was announced that Day 1 Studios was developing it. But I am such a huge fan of Left 4 Dead, that any co-op experience that can take L4D to the next level, just sends goosebumps all over my skin.

I was looking for a new game to get as my free game selection to go with my Duke Nukem Forever pre-order. Considering it's the middle of June, the choices were slim pickings: Red Faction: Armageddon, Dungeon Siege III and F.E.A.R. 3. But after seeing this, F.E.A.R. 3 is edging out the vote. The game itself may turn out to be mediocre, but it'll be a free game, so it's not like I'm spending any money out of pocket for it. And the F**king Run mode does look sooooooooooo awesome . . .

Or Uncharted 3 maybe?

Hell, there are not too many games this mode would not work for. Matter of fact, I would not be too surprised if come 2012, a lot of games simply copy the mode, and add their own spin to it.

And while I think the concept would work much better in either a horror (Dead Space, Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead), or disaster (Motorstorm: Apocalypse, I Am Alive, Bulletstorm, Rage) setting, I would not be too surprised to see it show up in Call of Duty.

It's like those old perpetually side scrolling levels from the 8/16 bit days. Stay ahead of the end of your television screen, or die!

There are so many shooters these days but this is looking good. I also hope SP is good lots of game miss that.

Gee I wonder if the same game reviewers who complained about Killzone 2 having too many swearing words in a M rated game will complain about this one too...

Looks graphically piss poor although this mode looks fun gameplay wise, really murky looking crap visually though, a total eyesore.

I remember buying FEAR 2 off GFW Live store last year for $5 but never downloaded it :/ but FEAR Combat was way too much fun
