Peter Molyneux is hard at work on the sequel to one of the most appreciated Xbox role-playing games, Fable 2. While we only have these three Gollum-like monsters renders to show you, it is still something to watch until the release date, which is scheduled somewhere in 2008.

not very original...
Fable 1 was pretty awesome, despite the fact that people allowed themselves to let hype get to them. Hype can destroy the perception of any good game.. and that's exactly what Fable was. A good, solid RPG.
More exploration this time plz.
I really liked the first one, so second one won't be any different...i hope :)
As for these monsters: They look great, not generic. And the graphics seem to be brilliant if they make it this way into the game.
and back to these funny little critters, i still just wanna cuddle them!!!!!
heheheheeeeeawwwwwww...

-a poor save system
-weak combat
-if you're going to complain about jrpg linearity than don't mention Fable
-an insanely small world
-some of the features that were supposed to make it unique such as the aging were inplimented in a fashion that ends up making little sense
-frankly you didn't need to buy the hype to realize Molyneux had more planned, but for whatever reason (likely going over budget) he cut the implementation, wrapped the game up as best he could, and shipped it.
no, Fable wasn't as bad as some of its detractors would say, but it was far from peachy. i wouldn't even say it was "good" as i got through it but mostly because it was so short, and while it didn't leave a bad impression, it didn't leave a good one either. it had a distinct lack of any significant impression. it was a decent showing with above average potential that Molyneux is getting a second chance to try and fulfill
so here's hoping fable 2 will look awsome like those pics! haha adorable lil bastards ^_^
