GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

As promised, Bethesda released a new update for Fallout 4 on both PC and PS4 Pro. PC owners can now download the 58 GB texture pack, while PS4 ones can enjoy enhanced draw distance and better lighting effects up to 1440p. As we have lent the PS4 version, we can only show you some PC footage, but as you'll see, the difference isn't really obvious in 1080p. Of course, such a pack is especially intended to those who can run the game at very high resoilution, so we've added a few 4K screenshots we took ourselves. We're not sure we'll be able to record some 4K videos on PC, but we'll try if we can find the time.

Maybe before they make 58GB of textures they should work on a new engine that was not designed to run the 1980's pacman and then equipped with a million modernization hacks that don't make it any better

Haha is it me or the most obvious I would assume - texture for the gun looks so horrible :D Priorities went wrong way I suppose.

Agreed, Fallout 4 was never a particularly pretty game, this doesn't really change that imo.

Actually just realised, the update launches for the 2 consoles later in the week. Apart from the PC textures and Pro enhancements, the only other updates are related to the Mod UI. It looks like that is all the Skyrim remastered patch will be applying too.
I guess with 1.9 and all the DLC out, that's it for Fallout 4 development. Full steam to TES VI Hammerfell then.

Its out on PS4 now in all regions, also Skyrim's 1.6 got deployed at the same time it seems.
