Famitsu Xbox 360 this month has a 4 pages article about Zegapain XOR, a mecha looking a lot like Zone of the Enders based on a new Anime starting airing this week in Japan. MAJ : Added 2 pages of Ninety Nine Nights, and one of Bullet Witch.
Microsoft is really serious about their push in japan and depending on the 6th announcements then the E3 ones the 360 could be a monster rpg machine lol :D
Zegapain looks awesome, very ZOE-ish as has been mentioned. Bring it on! I'm hoping for a western release.
N3 looks great as always, Bullet Witch is one of those games that could go either way, difficult to judge what it looks/plays like, but I'm keeping my eye on it.
I have a feeling these games wont end up being released in the US/Europs and that includes N3. Microsoft has been quiet about the release dates and that worrying me a LOT!
i don't understand why the japanese love those gay(for male) character designs...
anyway, that mech game looks pretty solid. not much to see now, though.
Also, Next Gen magazine folks played the game and mentioned that the controls are not intuitive. The graphics were good though - see link above to decide for yourself.
I honestly thing the japanese are ignoring the technical aspects of "next generation"...they really have been since the ps1. Each generation they would trade all the bells and whistles, all the graphical capabilities shown by their western neighbor developers, for a simple turn based RPG or 2d fighting game. I honestly can't see how people can still say japan is the focal point of game developing when they have been regressing game development and turned it into a popularity contest. Of course there are acceptions, but for the most part that's how it is. I mean with the exception of DOA4 and N3, these games look (and probably play) like mid-level last gen games.

really, how can you feel this way? a GOOD portion of games from the previous consoles with leading\great graphics were not American\European.
and 2d fighting games? the only ones that were released in the last generation were the guilty gears and a few others, and even the guilty gear games are known for their ultra smooth and flashy 2d visuals. 2d games in general play different and more people over there love that style which is why you see more "regressive" 2d games being developed by the Japanese.
but anyway, what games are you talking about?

Um, you have the same scan up twice for Bullet Witch.
We should get these games first. Japanese don't like xbox
^^^^ If Microsoft keep this up the Japanese will be all over the 360 in do time.

GI: So the game is coming out in Japan on April 20. When will we see it in North America?
Mizuguchi: Late this year.
