Wii

Once again, japanese magazine Famitsu has the scoop concerning a videogame, this time the much awaited Fatal Frame IV for the Nintendo Wii. This production, of the surival & horror genre, will not only be able to count on Tecmo's director Makoto Shibata, but also Goichi Suda (Suda51) from the No More Heroes game which has a very loyal following. This fourth episode is scheduled for July 31st in Japan.

Sweet, this is a game that is absolutely perfect for the Wii. It also looks like they've taken advantage of the Wii's hardware and didn't just port the PS2 engine.

I guess it's kind of interesting for being a wii title, but then again that isn't saying much. Oh well, i guess i shouldn't be complaning since the wii is actually getting a REAL game for a change.

Since Suda51's involved I'm betting we'll be seeing some interesting uses of the remote, rather than what most developers would do (use it for FPS aiming). I love this series though. Awesome collab.

And Megido, I'll have you know that I own THREE real Wii games so far, and none of them are made by Nintendo :)

And Red Steel to defeat the ghosts! Or the upcoming MadWorld from Platinum Games.

Absolutely love the series up till 3 which was... a bit disappointing. Still though, not going to pick up a system just for one game. I too am curious as to what three games Broman owns that's not made by big N and are real games?

Isn't red steel supposed to suck donkey nuts? I never heard even one pleasant word about it at any rate. Also upcoming games that MIGHT be good are not applicable as we were talking about the existing library (right?). Though hopefully the wii will get some more games that are not complete poo in the future (see what i did there?). Like this one...if it is any good, i don't know. At least it's not refurbished mario party.
