Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions is an updated version of a classic from 1998. Players fight monsters in the Ivalice kingdom in a turn by turn gameplay made possible with grid-based battlefields. The european launch has just been set to October the 5th 2007.

Nice, I'm so going to have to pick this up when it comes out in October. Tactics is easily my favorite FF game

Dang it! I love the old sprite RPGs. Put this on the DS so I can play it and I'll pick it up first day.

*sigh* ff tactics is my favorite game of all time. so many hours invested. so many jp's earned. so many cuar's bested. so many math skills abused. so much havoc wrought with tg cid. *sniff* ...the memories

i'm almost thinking about possibly considering buying a psp solely for this game. almost

It's hard to believe that this game never got a proper sequel. Such a classic, I still play it (on my PSP even!).

This game is ridiculous. I've been stuck on the battle where you are supposed to save rafa on the rooftops for days now. There is no way for me to win and I can't go back to the world map to level and get items till I win the battle. Damn you Square.
