Xbox 360 PS3

EA Sports created the surprise today by announcing that the next Fifa, aptly named Fifa 08, would be released by the end of the year on PS3 and 360. Of course they promise a better AI, a new and realistic shooting system and lots of improvements, but for the moment we only have these first screens to get a better idea of the game.

They all look like dolls, and Rooney looks uglier as a doll than in real life, quite an accomplishment.

Fifa 07 had great gameplay (from the demo at least).

This will most likely do nothing new.

Look, i wouldn't mind seeing some innovation in a football game, like for example a bit more arcady like streetcourt (or home court, dont remember the name) did for the basketball, what with all the crazy dunk action stunts, badass replays...
just for a change instead of the, you know, "here's better AI, a new and realistic shooting system and lots of improvements" (but read instead "we just moved the players to their new teams and updated their equipment with new sponsors") and "give us 60$ cause its a new game"...

Don't worry, it will. Summer will see the release of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, LAIR, Singstar PS3 (downloadable songs, that's all I've got to say about this game) and Folklore, not to even mention some interesting 3rd party games (The Darkness, for example). Though, I'm not sure if FolkLore will be released in the Summer outside Japan?

How do you "climb" to hell? Don't you usually descent there, not the other way around? :p

Stop trolling. PS3 will have plenty of great games this year, not only this Summer but later in the year too (Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Ratchet & Clank Future etc. etc.)

LOL it's their away kit to be exact ;) I can dream though. We're never very good in football games!

yeah, especially to this fifa! i hope it plays a lot different, instead of being an updated fifa 07.
anyone here notice how the new american PES, PE Winning eleven 2007 played like serious crap? it was totally different from PES 6 or WE 10.

I'm not trolling dude, and sorry for my english: i'm spanish. What I meant is that those that bought the system (699€!) are not receiving the quality software Sony promised. You only have to see the sales charts of Europe, Jap and USA... Wii is been selling 5x than PS3. If Sony wants to win this war it should wake up right now, because the first battle is already lost.

Games like this shown above speak that the fun is in other place.
