Trailer Xbox 360 PS3

Fifa 10 will be released very soon now so EA has made a very nice TV ad for the game. Some star players obviously appear in it, showing that Fifa is all about sharing the same passion for football - aka soccer - and also about having fun all together.

EA's message is clear this year: "We know we're better, it's time for everyone else to know it too.

For years, both PES and FIFA franchises had their pros and cons but this year, it seems it's EA the one that will become the undisputed leader in football games, in both terms of gameplay and functionality.

Nice little advert actually - not that I needed to be sold on the game anyway.

I've been playing both PES2010 and FIFA10 alot recently, At first i thought PES was better but the more I play it, the more the faults annoy me (Animation problems which greatly affect maneuverability, is by far the biggest Issue). On the other Hand, FIFA10 is going in the other direction, the more i play the I like it.

I still think PES2010 is the more exciting game between the two but i know for a fact that the problems will infuriate me after a while, so I will probably end up getting Fifa instead unless things are fixed in the retail version.

I have to agree about PES 2010 getting worse each time I play it, whilst FIFA 10 is going in the opposite direction. In fact, I played PES 2010 directly followed by FIFA 10 a couple of days ago, and the gulf in quality between the two became immediately clear. PES just feels so stiff and restricted - almost scripted - compared to the free and fluid feel of FIFA. PES 2010 does achieve a small feat in regaining some of the magic of the older PES games, but it isn't enough to knock FIFA off its high perch.

I don't even know why I ever had doubts with which one to get - although I still maintain that PES 2010 is the better looking of the two (not by much though).

I can't remember where I wrote this, but I stated on another forum that within the first few minutes of the PES 10 demo, you experience more or less all there is to that the game has to offer. You pass, you dribble, you hit a cross or a shot. Up the difficulty and you use the wings more. That's pretty much the cut and thrust of the depth of gameplay that PES has become now. The Fifa 10 demo is a different animal altogether. Been playing it for over a week and I'm still getting to grips with certain things and still seeing new things happen, and expirimenting with different avenues of attacking and styles of play. The way - should you choose - you can build up play and pen a team practically inside their own box and knock it around just in front of them is a joy, or you can just break down the wings with players like Messi and use his skill to literally rip sides apart, but never to the extent to where using players like him or Henry that it feels like an exploit like it did in 09. Everything has a natural balance. There's just so much depth to the engine, and the final game should yield an amazing experience in a modern day football game not seen since the PES heyday.

I like this TV ad too. It reminds me of the Guinness adverts, which are normally very well directed and often dramatic. Seems that EA aren't messing about anymore. They know what they've got on their hands. Roll on the 2nd.

Really nice to finally see NEDERLAND in this game. I've played FIFA since the beginning and have missed the fine Dutch players. Congrats to EA. The DEMO is quite interesting and challenging to play. You'll experience a lot and each time it will vary. FIFA ROCKS and pes is dying slowly in agony if they are living that is! :D
