Images Xbox 360 PS3

EA Sports released a bunch of new images of FIFA 12, which should really bring something new to the franchise this time. No doubt football/soccer fans will appreciate the effort.

These type of acreenshots always tell us nothing (much). Alot of Fifa's visual prowess is attributed to the off-field action; elements such as weather, crowds and camera angles all play an often unsung part of its pleasing visual makeup. These highly decorated screenshot don't ever do the game justice I could appreciate gameplay pics.

Anyways visually I'm just hoping it doesn't look worst than Fifa 11. EA have reached a plateau visually with the Fifa franchise and I think they can now strictly focus on gameplay enhancements (at least for the remainder of this generation).

never understood why they release these shots.. its not like the game will look close to it during gameplay.

I just want no button delays. Not to have the game stopped every 10seconds for fouls that arent fouls. All glitches bugs ironed out BEFORE release.

Erm, the screens don't exactly look out of this world; current gen consoles are capable of such visuals. I have little doubt that it'll look as good as what we see above.

But the visuals aren't really of interest to me in all honesty. The gameplay is what's important, and I'm never disappointed in that department when it comes to FIFA (from 09 onwards anyway).

Fix the damn winger/headshot bug in the damn game. 90% of players are limited to do this the whole game, this is NOT football, and the sad thing is that with a tall team you can easily outperform more skilled players taking advantage of this since the defenders tend to freeze in air attacks.

Gameplay wise Fifa 11 was the worst game wince Fifa 08, I really hope they iron out these faults. And yes the referees need to improve a damn lot.

One more thing: Not all the damn players attack by the wings, why the hell they never project themselves through the center? Have you seen Barcelona - Manchester? Ok, then learn that football can be player better on the ground.

our problem is not with game gfx , or at least our main problem is not this,i hope they solve this game's few gameplay issues, for example player accelerations are very poor, players are a little bit slow to move and... i hope this problems will be solved...

I would like to see less table tennis effect. In one or two passes you find yourself in enemy zone. So the overall pace should be similar to PES, but in the end this game will rock, can't wait for it.

Surely that's down to the people who play the game, not the developers? I've played FIFA 11 more than any other game this generation - I still play it to this day - and I can rip other players apart online by playing it on the floor and through the middle. It's actually how I usually set my team up.

Am I the only one not impressed with the "impact engine"? So far I see little difference to the animations as in FIFA 11.

Besides they got plenty of other issues to resolve. For instance, teammates being just blatently stupid..
