GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

There are smart people at EA's. Proposing players and journalists alike to try a game for 6 hours almost a week before its release was bound to get them some welcome pocket money. See us for example, we've never managed to have any of their games prior to release, so we had no other choice but to put our money down. The silver lining is that you can enjoy this first video of FIFA 15 tonight, free of charge. However, because timing is always perfect when it comes to Gamersyde's technical issues, we're having problems with one of our capture cards again. For that reason, it's hard to tell if we'll be able to post a lot more Fifa gameplay footage in the days to come.
Update 2: One more video added. "Superb" first goal!

Drift, thanks for the video and don't worry, you only need a new capture card for Forza Horizon 2, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for September.

And Alien: Isolation, Final Fantasy XIII (PC), Ryse: Son of Rome (PC), Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, The Evil Within and Lords of the Fallen for October.

FH2 should be fine, I already have plenty of footage for next week. ;p

Ethan Carter, it's PC, so let's just hope Mirilis doesn't affect performance too much (no need of a capture card here).

Mordor is due in October as well as Alien and most of the other titles you mentioned if I'm not mistaken. With a bit of luck we'll have it sorted out by then.

You meant PES when you were obviously watching Fifa videos here? Strange. That's not a pre-empted criticism of PES without actually even seeing or playing it, is it? Because PES2015, from what I've been hearing and seeing, actually looks pretty good this year. Fifa still looks like the same shit.

Let me correct my post above:
"Man, does that tech look old. And I thought PES (2015) looked dated..." They both look like %&$#! if you want my honest opinion, but FIFA is defo the worse of the two.

E: ...and YES, such brainfarts happen to me now and then.

Understandable.

Fifa looks the part, and is even fun for a game or two; whereas PES is a bit more deep, has better AI and plays the more realistic, but there's always something lacking in both. If only the two had a baby: perfect football game.

And I may add: ...with the same level of player detail as e.g. in the NBA2K series = uber football game. I honestly don't know what the problem is, judging from said game it should be do-able. Question is: Are Konami / EA willing to spend the amounts of cash that are necessary ? Thought so...

Well you do understand that FIFA has 16 000+ players and 600 clubs... It's a bit harder to do such level of detail.

Yea, you're right of course. It'd need a radical cut to pull that off (less clubs, less players, like the amount of cars in FM5 *cough*) i didn't consider it right away, but the impression i get with the yearly FIFA/PES-'updates' (that's what I think those games are) is that they're not even trying. I don't know...

I definitely get what you mean. As a long time FIFA fan it's clear that the "evolution" of the game is simply too slow but playing it with my friends is just tons of fun so I'll continue to enjoy them...

that's the only way to go yeppa ;) Albeit the changes in FIFA 15 seem small, the playability, especially online, has improved a lot. Played five season matches and they were all brilliant, with very tight results. Almost none of the constant rushing and pressuring. And if they tried, it's a walk in the park to counter it. I don't know why some people are always crying about changes being small, why would you change something drastically that sells millions of copies every year? Because of a few cry babies? Rather not, sales figures speak the truth, not some isolated negative comments in random forums. So yes, it's a yearly update and nobody is forced to buy as ususal. And at least on the X1 you can try it now for a full 6 hours for only a few cents, which is a great option. PES, cough, cough... fantasy animations which weren't created using the real players through motion capture and it shows.... It's like in real football, money rules and that's the reason why PES will always lag behind, from now until eternity. Like it or don't but it's a fact.

Well, that's bollocks for starters, because PES has been using mo-cap from real footballers for years. The animations only look half decent now due to the Fox Engine.
