EA Sports has released some more gameplay images of Fifa World Cup 06, showing some more than that single one did last week. EA has to make alot of decisions when creating a game - how the controls should be, which rules the game should use, and most important: what color the grass in the game should be. I don't know what they are doing, maybe they are trying to make the game have more in common with PES5 by degrading the graphics?

Geeh, I wonder what grass looks best.

Commented on 2006-04-24 16:05:17i very much doubt it, as EA would need to make a new engine just for a tournament release but PES/FIFA should have taught us that graphics are not everything

Commented on 2006-04-24 16:19:56EA are having a laugh if they think they can sell people the same game twice. They should just rename it " Fifa: Different game.....Honest!"

Commented on 2006-04-24 16:24:15EA always has to create an engine that runs smooth on all consoles and most pcs and now the limit is set much higher than one year ago when this engine was developed / improved.

Commented on 2006-04-24 16:40:38I think its better than Road to world Cup, it have been get better review.
at least gameplay are well done better than last one. Graphic well, they have long way to go. After seen what EA could done with Fight Night R3 and compare to this *sigh*
Commented on 2006-04-24 16:40:44The running and shooting is still massively disappointing though, the movement reminds me of the kids at school who weren't very good at football but played anyway. The ball physics are again inconsistent as it seems to vary in weight from an old style heavy pigskin ball through to an extremely light modern ball depending on whether it's being passed or shot.
Both of those major points are exactly what Konami have been getting right for a long, long time now. Why EA fail every time is a mystery to me.
