Still dont think its as smooth as FNR4 though
Heres my view on it:
The controls are solid. They are responsive and work really well. As someone who has been part of a boxing club for a year(It was a very stressful year, decided to let it out in boxing. It works, try it.), I thought it really captured the tactical thinking of the boxer. For example, Blocking and dodging until your opponent tires down, leaving their reflexes to gradually get worse and worse, then getting in and "making a dent in them" as a friend used to say.
My favorite guy to play as is Miguel Cotto, his reach is great and he is the sort of wiry person I can relate to myself as someone with a high metabolism and a liking for exercise.
I think, boxing fan or not, you should at least give this game a try.
Dont get me wrong I am not seeking for the blood, it was one thing that bothered me a bit from FN4 there there werent any cuts or something, fighters looked in the last round like they did in the first.
And: Does anyone know if they again included the option to add you own face into the game by using the cam? I think that was really fun at FM4
