Square Enix has shared a new glimpse of the City of Midgar and the adventures of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith and Barret through music with this new trailer which also depict some boss battles and characters. Final Fantasy VII Remake launches April 10th on PlayStation 4.

Every trailer looks more incredible then the last. I hope there are lots of moments throughout this first part where you can explore and have a fairly big area you can run around at any one time. But in the original we all know there wasn't that much. For example when you get to Aerith's house, you go to Wall Market and then you can run between Sector 6 and sector 5, even right up to the gates of Sector 5 of Midgar but they are closed.

So hopefully there will be some/any exploration like that and will not be like Final Corridor XIII. But it will no doubt go very linear when you get to the Shinra Building including right up to the end of this game. Then its just wishing at that point for the next part to have an actual designed and effort put in "world map".

The demo looks the part more than it has the right to, but plays horribly. The action/lessrpg just shits on the legacy, a playable fanservice movie with button mashing inbetween.

I'll enjoy it in bargain bin status for what it is.

looks phenomenal, although i feel like im in the minority where FF7 never grabbed me.
im partial to older turn-based JRPGs but if critics love this game i'll jump in.

Yeah, what if it turns out to be incredibly short or something not really justifying the full game status they called it at E3 2019. I guess we will know more around launch.

Epic trailer. I hope the Honeybee segments are optional like the original. It made it fun for gamers to pick and choose what to do and say.

I became a fan of the Final Fantasy franchise with Advent Children but I got my hands on the original FFVII too late. I wanted to play the game so much but I found myself lost and not knowing what to do or where to go in the game most of the time and abandoned the game. I'm sooo eager to play this remake
