what happened to the graphics?
Generic characters that look like they've stepped out of the countless other JRPGS that inexplicably still flood the market - check. Random morphs to a flat plaine battle ground as you tediously wait your turn to hit the same enemy character model you've killed a thousand times prior - check. Long drawn out cutscenes - check. A linear story with only one path and possible outcome - check... you cant say its not a consistant genre atleast.
FF is a win for the 360 for sure.. but i cant force myself to invest in it. Shame as it looks quite pretty

No, I think it will look superb when we finally got it in our hands =)
And I don't doubt that the game had to be scaled down once MS forked over the cash--probably not so much in terms of graphics, but rather dialogue and CG scenes. Can't be having a 10-disc game ;)

Be funny if when they both hit and the 360 version unsurprisingly looks and performs better as is the norm with multi-platform titles. And ofcourse it will perform better than the ps3 version because MS paid them off *rolls eyes*

Just think about it - take any MMORPG with huge amount of grind and strip down the "MMO" part (community, open world, etc.) ...THERE YOU GO! JRPG without cut-scenes :D
It seems to be that none of the other people on here have actually played the demo...Its easily the best looking rpg I have played on any system
