MS is SOOOO stupid not to allow this on Xbox Live... why are they making it so hard for Square Enix to implement this? and any other MMOs for that matter? What a joke!

What is the reason that they are giving? I don't see why,with dedicated servers, this couldn't work on XBL just like PS3 and PC.

final fantasy is dead. Everyone responsible for the original series is either dead or moved on from Square. Now the series is in the hands of retards

BTW this isn't final fantasy, calling it FF14 is an insult to the franchise just like FF11.

To be fair, FF11 being an MMO was sakaguchi's idea, who was responsible for the original FF series, the FFXI team had quite a few SE/FF veterans, including Hiromichi Tanaka and Masato Kato, Nobuo Uematsu actually composed quite a few tracks and he's the main composer for FFXIV.
Are you bashing it because you don't like the story/gameplay or are you bashing it just because it's an online game?

I am bashing this because FF13 is awful and this doesn't deserve to be called FF14...all MMORPGS are worthless anyway

Only good thing FFXI had going for it (and i'm not saying it the best or worst MMO out there, some love it some don't, but...) as a FF game, the OST is sublime and the redeming factor. All other stuff, well... eh.

Well you do realise that its a completely different team to FF13, I do agree 13 was awful, and your free to claim MMO's as worthless, but your talking shit either way.

Looks great and it does look fun to play online, meet up and go on some epic quests

Might rent it out on the ps3 and if it's worth it, get the full game

nothing to do with dedicated servers. The reason why 99% of mmo's originally planned for the 360 never make it to the 360 is all down to Live being a closed network - meaning that everything has to be passed through MS first. Which is less than ideal with MMO's that require constant updating. The ps3 is more like the pc.. you can place updates for games pretty much on the fly. With the 360 you had to wait for everything to be approved. And then you've also update size limits.

Just a total ball ache for developers aiming to support their mmo's.

Square-Enix should actually try to make their main character like the guy in the trailer instead of Vaan next time. Or give their next Vaan a shirt.

Even if I'm not that interested in MMO and their subscriptions, this game looks more interesting to me then the awful XIII.
The setting, soundtrack, characters, all looks great... I'm really considering getting it later for the PS3.
Looks more Final Fantasy to me then the dull FF XIII, which acording to some guides I still have plenty of hours of "sleep" and "X" pressing to do, which i'm probably not going to bother with... lol
