20 years late, a license that nobody gives a damn about any more (?) and some rather uninspired graphics. I guess it's way too early to say that this will suck, but yeah...i can't say i think it's a good idea :)

Cracks me up that they're making a game from an older movie like this. The should do that more often! (ok, there was The Warriors...)

Developing this game for underpowered hardware in mind (PS2/Wii) is going to ruin it for the XBOX360 and PS3. Sometimes it just doesn't make sense to develop these types of games across all platforms. Put all of the resources into the more powerful hardware and push the visual envelope. Games like this were meant to be eyecandy and fun. I don't want this classic to look generic.

The warriors was an awesome game, for one reason, It wasn't released with a upcoming movie so the team had a lot more time to do their own thing, create their own type of story but stay in lie with the original AKA it wasn't used to generate money off of the popularity of a movie in the current headlines.

Hopefully this will emulate its success, now how about a Goonies and karate kid game.

Hey wait a second, you're right! I thought something looked fishy about this game. ZootFly's concept was more updated for the modern audience. Not to mention the fact the Ghost mobile was no longer a funneral mobile but instead updated to be a Dodge Magnum. The game looked hot and I was almost fooled by this imposter. Do any of you guys remember the other title by Zootfly that was in development called 'Time O'? That game also looked amazing. As I remember, I think Sony stopped the Zootfly's development of the Ghostbusters game because the team had started developing the game before having a legal liscense since Sony does own the rights to the IP now. I think they were more upset that the game was supposed to be developed as an XBOX360 exclusive. Go figure, but I don't start rumors; there is some truth to this.

Erm, not me. Ghostbusters on the NES was an awful game. The second one was slightly better, but still terrible in places.

the graphics are kinda incosistent. i.e. the character models are looking really good but the backgrounds are really unimpressive IMO

Of course you don't care about it, if you aren't old enough to have seen the movies or the cartoons. TONS of people will give a damn...

See the people like me (32) who saw Ghostbusters at the cinema the and may have even cried a bit when their dads said they couldn't see it. Well we're the people who this game is for, I'll buy it, I love Ghostbusters. Seriously watch it on DVD, it's not often you see someone dreaming about getting oral relief from a ghost in a PG film. It's an awesome film and I hope this game will be too :)

To both of you, i HAVE seen the movies, i am old enough, i watched the cartoon, i had the action figures, i played the games on the nes and genesis and everything but i still think that this is one of those licenses that should be left to rest. Ghost busters as a licens has expired in my opinion. If i want to feel nostalgic about it i'd personally rather just chuck the first movie in my dvd player and have fun for an hour and a half. Seriously, we all know how license games go. Unless it's Starbreeze making them, they suck.

Doesnt necessarily mean so. look at CoD4, also in every platform, even DS. Didn't ruin the PS3/360 version...
