Xbox 360

We just got the first images of a new Xbox Live Arcade classic, Lode Runner. The only info we got was that Southend and Tozai are involved in the development, so we'll have to wait for a release date and more details.

It's a little more than that. The biggest thing the game has that sets it apart is you shoot out blocks (only at your feet, to your right or left) that form pits enemies can fall into, and those blocks come back so it's not like you can make it impossible to get through the level because of it. Of course you can fall in the pits you create yourself, and then you die.

So this is that game? I loved it in the arcade (even though I only played it a couple of times when I was younger) and couldn't remember what it was called. I was over the moon when a similar game came out on the Megadrive called Wani Wani World! :D Any chance of an upgraded version of that on XBLA?
