I hope many guys out there see Test Drive Unlimited in a new light after these NFS-C Shots. Seeing that city in picture 3 does not bring back good memories (for me at least).

I predict 25fps. Hopefully I'm wrong :)

Is EA on drugs???? Why the hell would you take the series back to the Underground when Most Wanted did so well? And why cant they build a game engine that can do both day and night lighting?

I've never seen a company with so much money be so stupid in execution.

agree with thexetreme1, why can't EA think about doing gameplay back in the day rather than night? it's not that hard, and plus the underground games sucked a lot. Most Wanted was a great change, and now they bring this. I bet the "CARBON" means the cars are environmentally-friendly and produce less CO2 emissions! haha

Where's the old NFS style with lush sunny scenery and focus on DRIVING? Why do they keep pushing for that dirty night look with customized cars? I just don't get it. They had the perfect formula and they ruined it.

It doesent look any better then NFS Underground 2 on my PC.
Now this is just a shame.
Look at PGR 3 oder TDU if you wanna play a game that is worth calling
Next-Gen Racer.

BTW, i think the whole concept is just outdated now, we have seen far enough
"night time, tuning" racers and this is just more of the same.

Um, Most Wanted had plenty of sunshine and country roads. Carbon also sounds like a more old chool NSF. People really should update their impressions of this series since NFSUG.

I agree with Prez. I just can't see anyone getting excited over this, it's been done before.

How about Need For Speed: Ferrari Unleashed instead?

Compared to PGR3, it still is way behind ... The 360 is capable of muchg more than this. Not surprising coming from EA.

yeah. Wierd how PGR3 was a launch title, and still looks waayyy better than any other racing games that aren't even out yet for 360. But im counting on Forza 2 dominating them all. Seeing how incredible the gfx are for Forza1 on xbox, I expect them to be really great in Forza2 for 360.

comparing these Forza 1 screens to those NFS above, I would even say Forza on Xbox looks more impressive. And looks even better in motion while im playing it.

NFS is starting to go downhill. Hot Pursuit 1 & 2 were the most fun for me, they should go back to that style, instead of trying to make it like The Fast and The Furious.

There's a lot of cool infos on the net about that game. Heard that there will be a virtual society in the game, interaction with Npcs, teamplay in the race and that the driver can lose health when crashing.

I think the 'Carbon' is pobably refering to 'carbon fibre.' A very light, strong material used in the production of some expensive supercars.

btw, is this THE most multi-platform game ever?
to be released at the end of the year on Xbox, PS2, DS, PSP, Gamecube, PC, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3
Thats 9 systems. my god.
