I hope this isn't as clunky as Deadlight. The "move on a grid" style of gameplay Prince of Persia pioneered back in the day hasn't aged well.

Nice flashback. I'll definitely grab it for my PS3. Both new and original in one package - me likes.

I want to like this, I loved the original but I have to say looking at the comparisons, the old one looks better. The color palette and art style is just more cohesive.

Can't believe the new games animations look worse then the original. His jumps animation looks jerky as hell. On the plus side, the original game is included...so that's good I guess.

I have to admit, I still love the previous Flashback. Its in the gameplay. I will prefer to play the old one on emulator. And comparing old in-game shot and new artwork is a little strange, isnt it? It looks great, yes, but it doesnt have that Flashback feel.

i don't get why they didn't just redraw the sprites for 1080p. maybe re-do the environments in 3D if they had to. maybe even improve them if they could (although they where pretty damn fluid already) the gameplay was great before too, it wasn't really a shooter, it was like POP or oddworld. an exploration puzzle game interspersed with small bouts of action. gearing this up to be more action oriented is already a fail imo. why does it need 360 degree shooting? i just don't get it. it seems the only people who get remakes this gen are "just add water" they retain the gameplay, and feel of the original but update the rest.

Agree. First time Ive heared about it, I thought its gonna be 2D HD, which I love!!! They made a nice game, but its not Flashback anymore.

Loved Flashback & Another World...doubt they'd stand the test of time now.
