PS3

DjMizuhara is back again with this third video of Folks Soul, this time showing a brand new level and some new and different summons. Also worth noting, another Soul Yanking method for the boss.

These are the kind of games the 360 is sorely lacking, and the reason I'll be buying a PS3 as soon as the price drops. Amazing art direction!

Wouldn't say that at all, this is hardly much different than Kameo.

This looks alot more interesting and promising than Kameo ever did. I don't see any reason to compare these two games, though...

I still fail to see the similarities with Kameo, in gameplay, art, graphics, anything. The only similarity is that they all have creatures in them.

The difference being in that FolksSoul is actually, you know, GOOD. Kameo is (trying to be) more like Zelda, failing quite miserably (sorely lacks the epicness Zelda type adventure games should have, not to even mention it's such a short game).

Saying Kameo is a bit flawed is fairly justified, but I think it's extremely premature to call this game *good*. It's certainly decent fun, and it has the previlege of being essentially the first "PS2 styled" next gen game which is bound to make it look much more appealing than the endless stream of brown/gray paste that the 360 has endured, but to already make claims that it's better than Kameo is a bit silly.

Compared to Zelda, Kameo is rubbish, but taken on its own merits it's a solid game that has moments of goodness. Those moments of goodness are easily proportional to the demo of Folklore.

Well, I'm an RPG-gamer, and can say, this game does not really interest me... the movie looks okay, but not very exiting. I'm still waiting for news on White Night!!!

Well duh, if you're a fan of games like Final Fantasy & other more turn-based RPGs, then Folks Soul might not interest you. It's an action RPG closer to (dare I say it) Genji than Final Fantasy (or White Knight Story). It's more of an action game than RPG, it's just an action game with some RPG elements thrown in.
