Xbox 360 PS3 Wii

Lucasarts released this new Behind the Scenes video of Star Wars: Force Unleashed detailing quite a few story elements of the games. Needless to say that people who don't want to know what happens in the game at all should not watch this.

Wow looks awesome, the beginning bit with Vader looks stunning when he destroyed the wooden building and young Leah look funny!!

Slightly concerned about some of the fram rate issues and tearing that seemed apparent on occassions but hopefully thats just the trailer or the game not finished yet, otherwise a must buy for me!

Hello to everyone too, first post.

Brilliant..can't wait..though gotta agree with the others here, some of the screens and video content shows very polished characters/environment while others seem to hark back to a lesser graphical age..

Most probably it's just a matter of polishing the graphics up throughout the game..

September can't come fast enough! :)

Princess Leia is in it! I knew she was going to be at least mentioned but I didn't know she'd be one of the one-screen characters. Cool! Now we know the time period of when you're playing Starkiller too, it's just a couple of years at most before A New Hope since Leia's a teenager in this and not a child. Overall this looks great although I was a little disappointed with some of the animation in the cutscenes. :( I was expecting Mass Effect quality animation throughout.

Gotta have this. Everything I've seen so far looked awesome. Quality of the graphics seem to differ sometimes in cutscenes, but the voice acting sounded preet good. Very natural. love it.

Holy...WOW!

From a technical standpoint, this game is nothing short of stunning! Gameplay looks very cool as well, though I'm not completely convinced in that regard. And finally, a game that appreciates interesting and varied environments throughout! It's a nice change of all the drab one environment games we've seen passing by this gen.

Seriously impressive stuff...wow!

Just to reciprocate a bunch of feelings already expressed, this game has looked impressive since the Haden first talked about the different engines were going to be used and we saw some (I guess Beta) footage for the first time.

From there a bunch of animations have been intensely improved and this game LOOKS leaps and bounds better with the new color pallet and bloom around the lightsabers!

When he explained the time period more I really had never given though to the "rise of the Rebel Alliance." Actually being a part of its beginnings now will be SO AWESOME! Also it's interesting to note that when he kept emphasizing the fact of secrecy in his apprenticeship that it would make sense to kill everyone! NO ONE can know of him. That should help with the difficulty of the game, as well. Basically a mission objective would be "make sure no one is left alive," and that would add to the games difficulty.

I'm really, really excited for this game now!

I'm happy with the apparent quality of the storytelling here, but it's all going to come down to gameplay. No matter how fun it seems to toss and zap folks around; if the challenges aren't varied, it'll still feel like a miss of a game.

hmm, many animations (from the cinematics mainly) look really clunky and weak :/ please no, i really have high hopes for this one

I'm curious as to what happens to this guy. I'm sure they won't rewrite star wars canon to include him, so something happens right before episode 4 to justify his disappearance.

according to the producers George Lucas gave them canon permission to create the apprentice character......so they must have something in store to justify him not riding to the rescue/fighting alongside vader in the original trilogy

actually let me add something to that....according to one of the voice actors (the one who plays the apprentice)...and I am quoting nearly verbatim "the plot was worked out so that without the character of the apprentice the original star wars would not happen so he is this enormously important character and he is proportionally powerful"

now read that again

without him the original saga does not happen

now it's obvious they have something BIG in mind

Hmmm looks nice, only I don't really like the looks of the main character.. looks kinda OK... like a "usual guy"

Other than that looks really cool.

The characters are based on the actual actors.
Probably because they will be appearing in the live action Star Wars TV show :)
