I've spent my afternoon playing Forza Motorsports. Even if my full preview will have to wait a bit (don't worry, it's good) here are all of the images from the game press kit. Some are (I think) never seen before, others are old or even from last E3, but since the shots are in very good quality I decided to let them here. Also included are some photos from how the Forza team went to the real tracks.

I played the latest beta of the game, almost content complete but far from debugged and optimized.

The "original" tracks I played where much better looking than Laguna Seca. That's just the way the track looks in real life.
I'm still waiting for MS' reply for releasing a small video I did of a never seen before track (quite nice looking) so maybe you'll be able to see by yourself.

No official number of tracks, but the track list on Forza Central seemed pretty spot on (the one on gamefront is missing A LOT). Same for the car list.
The damage in the demo seems the same as in the beta. They did not get the license to have the cars lose some parts so we'll have to live with it.

Yep, they did not gave a precise date, but they mentioned the preview version being distributed in february. And now the french retailers list the game for April 29.

Does it mean that the cars won't be completely destructible? If we have a big front crash on a wall, will we be able to continue the race?
If the damage are just esthetic, like it seems to be in the OXM Demo, it's a shame... :(

No the cars won't be completely destructible. They do not have the rights to do it. But yes there are damages. If you crash hard, the car will start behaving wrong, like not accelarating correctly, leaning on left or the right, things like that.
You know how cars manufacturers are...

I'm also looking forward to seeing the full damage system in the full version. At least Forza has damage in it because GT4 doesn't even have it. So, I can't complain. :)

So, BlimBlim, are we going to see the preview anytime soon? I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for your preview. ;)
