yes, it may look a little bit cartoony but i don't have a problem with it. forza has never been about graphics, this game is about racing and the fun at challenges.

I don't think the game looks cartoony at all, and if these images exemplify the true graphics running at 60fps, I'd have to say that the other racers will pale in comparison. PGR3 looked good but there were jaggies present and it didn't run at 60fps. The frames are only really noticeable when you're playing driving games. Keep the look with all the features turned on at 60fps and see will people complain. It will be very eyecandy.

The Porshe looks very nice, but everything else is dissapointing, landscape looks borring and the lightning sucks, everything is way to cartoony, also the cars are looking like shit from the inside and so does the driver.

Remember its a LOCKED 60 fps and over 360 physics fps. If it looks this good in the screenshots I can't wait to see it in motion!

The car models and the lighting looks excellent, but the environments are horrible and totally disappointing. It seems to me they have finally cut the 3D grass and replaced it with bitmaps. The driver inside the car looks so horrible with it's squared, low poly helm. I really hope these screenshots shall only demonstrate the car models and all other things are recycled from Forza 1. The environments sucks with every single new relesaed screenshot more an more if you compare it to the X06 demo. Every currently available 360 racer has better environments than these screenshots.

well the last set of images i was dissapointed,but that porsche looks aming in shot 4,still alittle cartoony,but at least the badge has depth unlike the ferrari in last set of pics,i like many others just wanna see some ingame footage,to prove that this is gonna be the greatest racing game of all time.
i cant wait,when is the release date again may?

Right beside of the Porsche on the fourth screenshot you see bitmaps. It's like TDU, but no 3D grass. Maybe i am wrong (i am hoping), but this looks totally different than the 3D grass from the X06 Demo.

Your going to be the only guy playing this game complaining about how the guys helmut looks.

If i am playing PGR3 i often move the camera around the car when driving straight away, because i want to enjoy the really good environments and car models. It simply looks weird if there is a lastgen low poly driver inside an excellent car model.

60fps is essential for a true driving Game.

You 360 owners should not settle for anything less.

Of course, dirext x 10 'Proper' PC sims, are going to blow everything out of the water. In every single aspect:

Again, really looking forward to seeing videos of this running 60fps.

I echo the sentiment that it looks almost as if some of the features have been toned down in the environments to compromise for a higher frame rate, but ultimately, a gameplay video would decide nearly everything for me.

Enviroments look terrible, especially in the 1st pic.
The lambo models also look terrible, loony toons all the way.

That Porsche...finally...they manage to get a car look realistic rather than a make it look like a toy, too bad the interiour is non-existant, I've seen better car interiours in GRAW, and for god sakes, give the bloke a real helmet!

It's still pretty underwhelming, but looking at that second pic of the Porsche does give a man hope.

Oh, and this is a SIM-RACER, so graphics ARE important, because you want the cars to look REAL in a SIM-RACER don't you..?

Most racers with amazing graphics are "cartoony". Look at PGR 3. "Cartoony"!

I'm sure it'll be great, just like the first FM was. I'm just hoping they won't have too many laps on the harder events. IMO, that was too much. The 30+ lap races was OK because the pitstop made you drive alone a lot of the time, which was relaxing. Also, it was a great way of seeing how damaged tires affect your performance. However, 5 laps on a demanding track with very hard opponents to complete 20% of a championship is too much...
