Turn 10 and Microsoft has released screenshots of the next Forza Motorsport 4 DLC Pack, the January Jalopnik Pack. It will be available on Tuesday, January 3 and will cost 560 MS Points.

Not being a huge car nut I haven't heard of it up until now, but I can see why it's popular enough to have a Forza pack named after it.
This doesn't mean the series will never see them, it just means that we will have to wait to see them if they are in fact in the next game. Now features like 60 fps could not be compromised, that is why the game features LoD between hot lap and online, single player racing.
You can't hate on a game developer for making compromises if you did, you would have to hate them all. Considering your username I'm guessing you're arguing for Gran Turismo?
Well GT makes Forza look perfect when it comes to compromises, the amount of time they had to develop in comparison to the final product is pretty embarrassing.
